SCOTT, BARBARA, 78, of Louisville, passed away Monday September 30, 2013 after a long illness. A native of Adair County she was the former Barbara Baker, a retired customer service manager for the Regional Airport Authority, and a member of the Kenwood Heights Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill Mack and Sylvia Baker of Columbia; and her son, Bobby J. "Scotty" Scott, Jr. She was the proud mother of Judy Rayburn, Bobby John Scott, Jr., William "Billy" Scott, and Samuel Scott and wife Kim. She is also survived by her brothers and their wives, Tony and Betty Baker, Darrell and Gayla Baker, and Jimmy and Alice Baker; and her grandchildren, Nick, Joe, Dylan, Emma and Matthew; nieces, Beverly Baker, Pam Morgan and Jamie Cox; and a special family friend Vicky Burlew. Funeral services for Barbara will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with interment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the building fund of Kenwood Heights Christian Church, 5620 New Cut Road, Lou., KY 40214.
