Bradford Burton

June 14, 1918 — August 30, 2009

A native of Louisville, he lived in Florida for the past 25 years. He was a member of The First Congregational Church in Cape Coral, FL and also a member of the American Legion. During World War II, he served as a captain in the United States Army Air Corps.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Mary Louise Burton; as well as nieces and nephews, Robert Burton of Houston, TX, Jane Gold of Ft. Myers, FL, Debra Jennings, of Chesnee, SC, Steven Pierce, of Kansas City, MO, Donna Hilbert, of Louisville and Sue Stasie, of Hebron, KY.
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, September 3, 2009 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. until service time. A private burial will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Congregational Church Mortgage Fund, 312 Santa Barbara Blvd., Cape Coral, FL 33991.
