Dixie Ashton

Ashton, Dixie N. Kron,88, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital with her family by her side.She was a volunteer at the Kentucky Derby Museum Outriders and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.Dixie was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Julia Kron; brother, George Patrick Kron a daughter; Sharon Jane Ashton.She is survived by her devoted husband, Ralph E. Ashton; daughter; Yolonda Lynn Ashton; and two granddaughters, Amanda Hess and Julie Ashton.Her Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 7813 Shelbyville Road with entombment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Rd.
