Schnieders, Edward W. View/Sign Guest Book SCHNIEDERS, EDWARD W., 97, of Louisville, died Sunday, August 24, 2008, at Westminister Terrace. He was the owner of a grocery store and a member of St. Joseph Orphan Society, for 50 years. He was preceded in death by his wives, Eudora Scott and Mary Dorothy "Sue" Riedenger; his parents, Albert and Carrie Luken Schnieders; brothers, Henry and Al Schnieders. He is survived by his daughters, Jean Gast, Carroll Siemens (Joseph) and Sharon DeSensi (Chick); and stepchildren, Richard Brown, Susanne Lochner, Bernadette Herms; Eddie Brown, Katie Brown and Monica Gibbons; sisters, Dorothy Frantz; 13 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Sts. Simon & Jude Church, 4335 Hazelwood Avenue. Burial in Louisville Memorial Garden West. Visitation will be held 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at Keenan's Funeral Home, 4724 Dixie Hwy., at Rockford Lane. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Crusade For Children or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
