Edward Henry Pate III PATE, EDWARD HENRY III, 80, of Louisville passed away on February 12, 2010 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
Edward was a member of Ralph Avenue Baptist Church and Shively Masonic Lodge #951. He was also an Army veteran of the Korean War. He also did volunteer work for Friendship International and Salvation Army.
Edward is preceded in death by his parents, Edward H. and Alice Catlett Pate Jr.; brother, James H. Pate.
He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Sue Brown Pate; children, E. Michael Pate (Gayle) of Belmont, N.C., Mark T. Pate (Carolyn) of Visalia, CA and William M. Pate (Jamie), of Perry, GA; brother, Robert A. Pate, of Anchorage, AK; and ten grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
