Gary Blakeman

Steve Blakeman, 62, loving husband to Nancy Geary Blakeman, passed away at home on Wednesday September 3, 2014. He was born to the late Herman and Evelyn Larrimore Blakeman in Louisville on November 20, 1951.
Steve retired from General Electric, was a member of the Derby City Mustang Club and he was an Air Force Veteran. He loved spending time with his great-grandson Zachary flying their Phantom 2 quad copter.
He is also preceded in death a sister, Mary Schott.
Besides his wife of 26 years he is survived by children; Cathleen "Jenny" Blakeman, Adam Blakeman, Tina Hubbard (Jimmy Atwood), grandchildren; Tierney Aubrey (Sabrina), Jerry Roy and his great-grandson, Zachary Johnson. He will also be missed by siblings; Rita Peterson (David) and Doug Blakeman (Yvonne).
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Louisville Humane Society, 2445 Crittenden Drive, Louisville, KY., 40217
