Jean Jansing

December 10, 1931 — July 18, 2015

Jean Marie Jansing, 83, wife to the late William E. Jansing, passed away at home on Saturday July 18, 2015. She was born to the late Arthur W. and Leona Maier King in Louisville on December 10, 1931.
Jean retired from JCPS as a reading tudor.
She is survived by children; Sharon A. Knight, Martin Jansing, Peggy A. Welsch, William "Ed" Jansing, Jr., Gerald T. Jansing, Julie A. DeVocht, Tim Jansing, Jo Ann M. Jansing along with 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and siblings; Ron King, Paul King, and Martha Anderson with many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Kosair Children's Hospital, Dept. 86140, P.O. Box 950183, Louisville, KY 40295-0183.
