Jeanette Heintz

Jeanette Sue HEINTZ, JEANETTE SUE, 72, of Prospect, went to her heavenly home, Saturday, May 26, 2007 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She unconditionally devoted herself to her family, friends, and church and lived each day with the grace of God. "The Grandma", as she was fondly referred to, enjoyed playing Bridge, celebrating the seasons, and meeting new people. There was not a person or four legged creature that she didn't devote herself to. She lived a selfless life and is an inspiration to those who knew her and whose hearts she touched. Jeanette was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Dave "The Podge" Heintz in 1998. Her amazing presence will be greatly missed but her spirit will live on in her son, Scott Heintz and his wife Cindy; daughter, Kelly Landers and her husband Greg; grandchildren, Ashley Heintz, David Heintz, Erin Landers, Emily Landers-Reed and her husband Chris; her cousin and best friend, Jerry Corbin and her husband Ken; and countless other family, friends, and church members. Her funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 28, 2007 at First Baptist Church of Prospect, 8911 US HWY 42, Prospect, KY 40059. Burial will be private at a later date. Visitation will be from 2 6 p.m. Sunday at Highlands Family- Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville, Rd.
