Joanne Philpott

Joanne Bonita Philpott, 78, passed away on May 1, 2022. She was a retired hospital administrative assistant and a member of Rockford Lane Baptist Church for over 50 years. Joanne was the most loving Mom, Mimi and Sister you could find. She had a passion for animals, cooking for her family, decorating at holidays and was quite the sports fanatic. She is preceded in death by her parents Horace and Geneva Wehunt Sizer and her sister, Barbara Bredhold.

She is survived by her children, Robin Bennett and Brian Philpott (Susan); sister, Rebecca Collier (Jess), two granddaughters, Callie and Josie Philpott and her grandson, Miles Bennett, who was the center of her life; and her nephew, Doug Bredhold.

Visitation for Joanne will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
