Joseph Decker

Joseph Decker, 74, loving husband to Sue Ann (Gilliatt) Decker, passed away on Friday December 28, 2018 at University of Louisville Medical Center.  He was born to the late Vincent and Estelle (Appler) Decker in Jeffersonville, IN.  He is also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Gemma Decker and sister Antoinette Steckelberg.

Joe was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Jeffersonville, IN.

Besides his wife of 54 years he is survived by daughters, Laura S. McLaughlin, Elizabeth A. Decker, grandchildren, Cameron Elizabeth Decker, Zoe Rae McLaughlin, and Matthew Joseph Schroeder along with siblings, Cathy Schaffstein (Fred), Vincent Decker (Kathy), and Susie Schmidtz (Tom).

Funeral services will be held Wednesday (1-2-2019) at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Visitation will be Wednesday (1-2-2019) from 10:00 am until time of service.
