CRAVEN, LORENE (McGUIRE), 92, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on April 2, 2013. She was a homemaker and member of Rockford Lane Baptist Church for over 50 years where she was active in the Leisure Club and Birthday Club.
Lorene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe Craven; her son Tommy Craven; granddaughter Deanna Jo Crossland, brother, Horton, and sisters Annie and Betty.
Survivors include her children, Bob Craven (Karon) of Denver, NC, Dorothy Crossland (Ron) of Albuquerque, NM, Shirley Malchow of Franklin, TN, Becky Craven, of Louisville, Kathy Sullivan (Tom) of Louisville and Steve Craven (Karen) of Nashville, TN; daughter-in-law, Dian Craven of Louisville; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; her brother, Cecil McGuire, of Portland, OR; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2 - 8 p.m. Sunday and after 11 a.m. on Monday.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Hosparus.
