Margaret Loretta Burke "Margie" (Curley) Share E-mail Visit Guest Book BURKE, MARGARET LORETTA "MARGIE" (CURLEY), 71, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
She was a retired teacher's assistant for Sanders Elementary School.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, five sisters, and grandson, James Patrick Burke.
She is survived by her sons, Jeff (Julia), Patrick (Carolyn) and Mike (Mindy); sisters, Kate Pease, Carolyn Cassady, Mary Lee Daub (Bob) and Sue Robards (Bill); and she was the greatest Granny to 11 grandchildren, and Aunt Margie to a host of nieces and nephews.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Good Shepherd Parish, 3511 Rudd Ave., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday and 1-8 p.m. Friday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons-Southwest, 4832 Cane Run Road.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to American Cancer Society or WHAS Crusade for Children.
