Michael Jones

JONES, MICHAEL ALLEN, 43, of Sarasota, FL, passed away Friday, June 27, 2008. He was a Louisville native and a member of Hurstbourne Christian Church. He graduated from Ballard High School and attended both the University of Tennessee and the University of Louisville. He was employed by Crawford Williams Engineering, in Sarasota. Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Lynn Myer. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Thomas F. and Gale C. Jones; a sister, Sue Ann DaPonte; a nephew, Matthew R. Jones; and his brother, Scott Jones, of Ovilla, TX. There will be a memorial service at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Arch L. Heady, Westport Road. Visitation will precede the memorial service from 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.
