Nina Kathleen "Katy" Baird, 91, wife to the late Earl F. Baird, passed away Monday August 11, 2014 at Signature Health Care (South).
She was born in Bowling Green, Kentucky to the late E. J. and Effie Stewart Clay on February 24, 1923.
She worked as a stenographer at Fort Knox until she met and married Earl and later became a mother to two daughters.
She was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
She is survived by her daughters; Deana Lynn Harper and Janet Bianco (Charles), and beloved granddaughter, Natalie Harper.
Funeral services will be private at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association, 6100 Dutchman's Lane, Suite 401, Louisville, KY 40205-3284.
