Pura Gatliff

Mrs. Pura R. Gatliff passed into eternal rest and went onto the arms of our loving Lord Jesus Christ on June 6, 2013 at approximately 6:00 p.m. Pura was 82 years old and passed peacefully at her home in Frankfort, Kentucky after a long bout with cardiac issues. Pura was born in Toa Baja, Puerto Pico on December 8, 1930.
Pura is survived by her husband of fourteen years, Mr. James L. Gatliff, as well as her children; Hector Ortiz, Jenny Fowler, Carl Felix, and Arnold Felix. Pura is blessed by knowing that her loving memory will live on in the minds of her grandchildren; Christopher, Vanessa, Alicia, Michael, Tony, Bradley, Carlos, and Christina; along with eight great-grandchildren.
Pura is preceded in eternal rest by her son, Herman Ortiz, and her daughter-in-law, Suanne Felix.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be given to Hospice of Bluegrass in Frankfort, Kentucky for their tender care of Pura in her final days.
