ADAMS, RAY S., 77, went to be with Jesus on January 9, 2010.
Ray was survived by his loving wife, Laura Adams; daughter, Susan Adams; sons, Gary Adams and Mark Adams; and brothers, Roy Dean and Bobby Adams. Ray was also survived by Ronnie Bell, Jack Reed and Bob Caster who have been like brothers. Mike Kelly and David Brown have been like sons to Ray.
Ray was preceded in death by brothers, Hortis, Charles, Bill, Jack and Marty; sisters, Betty, Wayne, Mary and Patsy Ann.
Funeral service honoring Ray will be Thursday 11 a.m. at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Hwy. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers please send donations to Hospus of Louisville or Veterans Administration.
