Richard Guthermuth

GUTERMUTH, RICHARD MARCELL, 60, of Hillview, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2009 at Jewish Hospital South.
He was honorably discharged from the United States Navy, retired from Lucent Technologies, and a member of Associate Lodge of FOP of Oldham County and Communication Workers of America.
Mr. Gutermuth was preceded in death by his parents, Russell N. Gutermuth Jr. and Rita E. Nix Gutermuth.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years Rose Marie Dennis; children, Rebecca R. Walls of Louisville and Aaron R. Gutermuth (Lia Knable-Gutermuth) of LaGrange; grandchildren, Noah Sibert, Abigail Walls, Emily Walls, William Knable III, and Alexandra Knable; brother, Thomas Gutermuth; and sisters, Deborah Cheek (Alan) and Karen Gutermuth.
His funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Arch L. Heady & Son, Okolona. Burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 1-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the American Diabetes Association .
