HOWARD, VIRGINIA LEE, 91, of Louisville, passed away, Tuesday, February 26, 2013.
She was a machinist for the Colgate Palmolive Co.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Birl Howard, brothers, James Lee and Carlos Lee, Jr.; and sisters, Martha Sparks and Juanita Dowell.
She is survived by her son, Richard Howard; granddaughter, Samantha, Goodin; grandson, Nicholas Howard; great-granddaughter Abbygail Goodin; nieces, Glenda Bell and Jackie Roberts, she is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held at the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd, Friday at 10 a.m. with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
