Vollie Moberly

87, passed away May 17,2015.He was born in Estill County, KY, he was a member of Lynnhurst United Church of Christ and retired from Brown and Williamson Tobacco Co. after which he had started Creek Ridge Greenhouse.Vollie was preceded in death by his parents, Mattie and Volley Moberly; five sisters and three brothers.Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Betty (Etheridge) Moberly; son,Jim Moberly; and daughter, Reeda A Speck (Larry); two grandsons, Jared and Austin Speck; a brother, Robert Moberly (Ruby); and several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens (west).
