William Redmon

REDMON , WILLIAM L. "BILLY," 93, passed away Friday September 27, 2013 at Rockford Manor. Billy was a World War II veteran, a past president of Square Dance Association, along with being a member of the Jefferson County Sherriff's Posse, and an amateur photographer. He retired from Anderson Wood Products, and enjoyed woodworking. He was preceded in death by his parents, J. W. Redmon and Elnora Redmon, a brother James Redmon and a sister-in-law Laura Jane Redmon. He is survived by his loving wife of 74 years Mary "Beanie" Redmon, a daughter Dana Martin (Rich), grandchildren, Dawn Burba (Rick) and Scott Martin ( Holly) and great grandchildren, Hannah Burba, Chloe Martin, Nikki Burba and Reece Martin. Visitations will be 2-8 pm Sunday September 29, 2013 at Keenan's Funeral Home 4724 Dixie Hwy. (at Rockford Lane). Funeral Mass will be Monday, 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Interment: Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
