Agnes Yates

YATES, AGNES MARIE, 87, formerly of Louisville, died peacefully with her son and daughter-in-law by her side on Friday, November 25, 2011 in Bumsville, MN.

She was born July 16, 1924, the daughter of the late Robert C. Jordan and Thirlo K. Estes.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, James Gaylon Yates; daughter, Vivian M. Haney; two sisters, Lucille Slaten and Donna Fitzgerald; and a brother, Bill Jordan.

Agnes is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James E. and Christine Yates of Minneapolis, MN; two grandchildren, S. Bryce Haney (Erica) of Murfreesboro, TN and Brandee M. Coker (Keith) of Memphis, TN; six great-grandchildren, Jordan Lowe, Jacob Brock and Joseph Edward Bryce Haney all of Murfreesboro, and Vivian Moira, Jack Laxton and Lola Marie Coker, all of Memphis; and a sister, Marguerite Humphrey.

Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Ratterman's, 3711 Lexington Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
