Albert Branham

Branham, Albert D "Al",91, of Louisville, KY, passed away on June 12, 2015. He retired from DuPont after 28 years of service. Al served in the United States Army during World War II, during which time he received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star. Albert was born on October 14, 1923, in Breeding, KY, to the late Gillam and Aileen Branham. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Sarah Branham. He is survived by his children, Shannon Scott (Earl), Joan Frazure; grandchildren, Walter Scott (Crystal), Logan Scott, Lindsay Scott, Michael Frazure, Allison Frazure, and Jason Frazure; and one great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Scott. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). A graveside service will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. In loving memory of Al memorial donations can be made to Crusade for Children.
