DOWNS, ALBERTA M., 84, of Louisville, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Georgetown Manor.

She was the former Alberta Schrafroth and a member of Lynnhurst United Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; and a son, Gary Downs.

She is survived by a daughter, Amy Perkins; a son, Bruce Downs; sisters, Mary Rose Back, and Martha Holliger; brother, Charles Schrafroth; and two grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Mrs. Downs' life will be held at noon on Saturday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Interment will follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday.
