EDWARDS, ALBERTA MARIE SHRADER, 92 of Shepherdsville, KY, returned to her Heavenly Father, Thursday March 6, 2008, Mrs. Edwards was born July 12, 1915 to the late Robert and Alma Clausen Shrader in Oldham County and was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Virginia; brothers, Vincent, Douglas, Gayle and Norman; grandchild, Rodney; and great- grandchild, Chloe. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Virgil Porter Edwards; children, Jenny Sexton (Steve) and Gary Edwards (Kathy); grandchildren, Karla Kadlec and Chad Sexton, Tracy Edwards and Joseph Edwards; five great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Thomas Evans; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Tuesday at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home, Preston Highway at Brooks Road, where friends may pay their respects Monday, 1-8 p.m. Burial will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens-East.
