Alda G. Emmons, 93, wife to the late Guy William Emmons, II, passed away in Laurels of Worthington Nursing Home in Worthington, Ohio on Thursday April 3, 2014. She was born on November 13, 1920 to the late Ira and Daisy Warren Griesinger in Coral Ridge, KY.
She was also preceded in death by a son Robert Emmons, siblings, Ira, Jr. and Loran Griesinger, Obie Atherton and step-mother, Hattie Griesinger.
Alda worked in the record department for Kresge's and was a member of Fairdale Baptist and Green Acres Baptist Churches.
She is survived by children, Guy W. Emmons III (Linda) of Dublin, Ohio and Patricia Chambers of Elizabethon, Tenn., along with 9 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 24 great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son Robert Emmons, siblings, Ira, Jr. and Loran Griesinger, Obie Atherton and step-mother, Hattie Griesinger.
