Vaughn, Alfred E. "Al" View/Sign Guest Book VAUGHN, ALFRED E. "AL," 76, of Louisville, died Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Baptist Hospital East. He was a native of Green Co., KY, and a former Over the Road truck driver for Sentinel Transport Co. in Louisville. He was a member of the Masonic Boaz Lodge #850, the Scottish Rite, and the Kosair Shrine. He was also a member of the Kosair Greeting Unit. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Tina Elizabeth Vaughn and Patricia Kay Vaughn Pippin Morgan. He is survived by his wife, the former Betty Brown Meadows; two sons, Michael Vaughn and Henry Vaughn, all of Louisville; five grandchildren; one brother, Milton Vaughn Jr., of Greensburg, KY; and two aunts, Elois Landrum and Norma Jean Pearce, of Louisville. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home- Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd., with Dr. George Strunk officiating, and burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made in care of Kosair Charities.
