OBST, ALFREDA M. ( JACOBSEN), 89, passed away January 31, 2012 at Norton Hosparus Pavilion.
She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, a retired pari-mutuel sales clerk at Churchill Downs and at Keeneland, and a member of the Beechmont Women's Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Obst; and brother, Charles Jacobsen.
Survived by a daughter, Patty Obst; a son, Gary Obst (Alice); four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 6901 Dixie Highway, with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens (West). Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
