HENON, ALICE G. (WELLS), 66, passed away on December 9, 2011.
She was a retired employee of Mothers Cookies.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Henon Sr.; son, James Lee Henon; her parents, Joseph and Emma Vessels; brothers, Willie Wells and Charles Vessels; and sisters, Anna Lang and Catherine Blanford.
Survivors include her sons, Tommy Henon Jr. and John Roland Henon Sr. (Terri); grandchildren, Shellie, Ashley, J.R. and Allie; six great-grandchildren; her brothers, Jerry and Jimbo Wells and Joe Vessels; and sisters, Madonna Vessels Wells and Georgie Vessels Brown.
Special thanks is given to her sister-in-law and dear friend, Dorothy Simpson, for the love and care given to Alice.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1 - 8 p.m. Tuesday.
