Long, Aline Ruth View/Sign Guest Book LONG, ALINE RUTH, 83, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2009 at the home of her daughter in Shelbyville, KY. She was the former Aline Ruth Snyder, and was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Clay Long; and a granddaughter, Kimberly Russell. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara York (Charles); four granddaughters, Rhonda Perry (Keith), Terri Riggle (Charlie), Angela Thomas and Barbara Muse; and 13 great-grandchildren. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Bartholomew Church, 2042 Buechel Bank Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road. Published in The Courier-Journal on 2/10/2009
