Smith, Allie Mae "Hie" View/Sign Guest Book SMITH, ALLIE MAE "HIE," 98, of Louisville, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2008. A Christian by faith, she was a member of New Bethel Assembly and a former member of West Side Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Smith; her parents, Fred and Mary Thompson; sister, Mabel; and brothers, Ed, Paul, and Mike Thompson. She is survived by her brother, Harry Thompson (Betty); nieces, Patricia Carter (Woody) and Shirley Sullivan (Mike); nephew, Timothy Thompson (Linda); many nieces and nephews; and her caregiver, Evelyn Cline. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be held 2-8 p.m. Wednesday.
