Allie Omega Steinrock, beloved wife, mother, and homemaker, passed away on August 22, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born on October 31st, 1936, in Albany, Kentucky, Allie was the daughter of Virgil Thrasher and Cohen Shipley. She grew up alongside her brothers and sister Aaron,  Morris and Charlotte, forming a close-knit family that supported and cared for each other.

While Allie considered herself a homemaker, she dedicated an astounding 50 years to keeping the books for the family business, Carl Steinrock Roofing. During her tenure, she built lasting relationships with customers and employees alike. Her warm personality and impeccable work ethic endeared her to all who crossed her path.

In addition to her career achievements, Allie was renowned for her culinary skills. She had a passion for cooking and was particularly known for her delectable homemade cookies that brought joy to neighbors near and far. Her special homemade cobbler became a staple at events among friends and family. Allie's kitchen was always filled with laughter and the aroma of delicious treats.

Outside of work and the kitchen, Allie found joy in playing tennis. She adored spending time on the court with women's doubles teams at the village tennis center. Not only did Allie excel in the sport she loved so dearly but she also formed countless friendships along the way. Her genuine spirit and infectious enthusiasm made her an absolute delight to be around.

Allie leaves behind a heartbroken but grateful family. She is survived by her loving husband Carl, their devoted son Steven, as well as her brother Aaron Thrasher. The memories they shared together will forever be cherished in their hearts.

To honor and remember this remarkable woman, visitation will be held on August 28th, 2023 at Louisville Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home West located at 4400 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216. The visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and conclude at 1:00 PM. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be conducted at the same location starting at 1:00 PM and concluding at 2:00 PM. Allie's friends, family, and those whose lives she touched are welcomed to pay their respects and share in her memory.

Allie Omega Steinrock will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her exceptional culinary skills, and her love of tennis. Her impact on those around her extends far beyond the scope of this obituary. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May she rest in eternal peace.
