Tipton, Alvie L. "Tim",73, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014.Tim was the joint owner with his wife of A & A Cruises, owner of T &T Rod Repair, Kentucky Colonel, and an Army veteran. Tim loved to go fishing and hunting.He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Haynes and infant sister, Janet Lynn Tipton. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Mary Faye (Ballard) Tipton; children, Robert Allen Tipton and Tina Marie Wieger; and five grandchildren, Christen, Alex Wieger, Ricky and Janice Cannon and Joni Sanchez.Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
