RHODES, AMIE O., 99, died Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Lincoln Hills Healthcare in New Albany.
She was born September 7, 1913 in Logan County, KY, to the late Hilman and Ollie Holland. Amie was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Louisville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Rhodes; and son, Irvin Klein.
Survivors include sons, Guy Rhodes, Tom Rhodes, Jack Rhodes; daughters-in-law, Alice Caufield, Pat Rhodes, Glenda Young; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be noon-6 p.m. Sunday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, IN. Her funeral service will be noon Monday at the Kraft Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, KY. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Epworth United Methodist Church, 919 Palatka Road, Louisville, KY, 40214.
