Angela Cornelia Weaver, was born to Gerturde F. Alves and Tony Weaver on November 6, 1962.

Angie was the youngest of Gertrude's "Chaps". She is preceded in death by her sister Le'Tonya Jean Wells. As Angie grew, her siblings began to add more names to her given name!

She became; Angela Corelia, Alfredo, Pasqually, McElroy, Alves, Weaver!

Angela began her education at Samuel D. Jones in the Head Start Program. Then, she attended Kindergarten through 6th grade at Nanny Lee Frayser Elementary School. She attended Noe Middle and graduated from duPont Manual High School in 1980.

After high school, Angela matriculated to Jefferson Vocational College, where she received her cosmetology license. Over the years Angela worked at several beauty salons as a licensed Cosmetologist. She later obtained her bartending license where she worked at The Elks Lodge and 12 Street Dart and Social club as bartender. As a founding member of the 12th Street Dart and Social club it held a special place in her heart.

At a very young age Angie professed her love for The Lord and was baptized at Saint John AME. Later, Angela became a chartered member of Liberty Tabernacle, where she diligently continued her missionary work for The Lord.

Though she had no children of her own she was a mother to many. From babies all the way to adults. Angie would give you the shirt off her back and a piece of her mind to go with it and would love you just the same.

Angela leaves many behind to mourn her sisters, Shelia Robinson, LueNettie Weaver, and Linda Arnold. Her brothers, Theophilis (Bubba) Alves, Clifford D.
