ALFORD, ANNA L. (RUTHERFORD), 69, passed away Sunday December 16, 2012 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
Anna was born in Louisville to Herman and Lomes Rutherford, who preceded her in death.
She was a retired machine tender at Mothers Cookies and a member of Hikes Point Christian Church.
Survivors include her loving husband of 50 plus years, Earl Alford; her children, James Ray Alford (Melissa) and Kathy True (Terry); eight grandchildren, Kelsey Caudill, Dustin Decker, Lacey DeMarco (James), Jessie James Alford, Christian Alford, Brittney True (Bryan), Matthew True (Susan) and Nicholas Burk; four great-grandchildren and two sisters, Jessie Ross (Melvin) and Dorothy Jacob.
Funeral services will be held noon Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Wednesday noon-8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Thursday.
