Anna Augustine

Anna Ruth Augustine, 84, loving wife to Herbert Augustine, passed away, surrounded by her family, on Friday April 9, 2021 at Norton Hosparus.

She was born to the late Henry B. and Marjory (Levan) Hampton in Louisville on September 23, 1936.  She is also preceded in death by 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

Anna was a homemaker and a member of Louisville 1 ^st Nazarene Church and Beechland Ladies’ Prayer Group.  She was a great wife, mother and Granny that loved to work in her garden and spend time with her family.

Besides her husband of 65 years she is survived by their children, Mike Augustine (Karen), Kathy Augustine Estes (Danny), and Kenny Augustine (Tami) along with  grandchildren, Kacey Clark (Chad), Jennifer Poole (Sean), Kyle Augustine, Annie Amyx (Nathan), Joseph Augustine, great-grandchildren, Jackson and Savannah Poole and one on the way.  She is also survived by her sister, Iva Hornback.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 am at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 1-7 pm at the funeral home.

Due to COVID restrictions, masks are to be worn at all times and social distancing is expected.
