WILSON, ANNA LAVERNE NIEMEIER, 83, of Portland, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at her home.
She worked at the West End Supermarket for 28 years as a cashier. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Floyds Knobs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters, and one son, Leon Smith.
Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Paul Wilson; sons, Kenneth Smith (Linda) and Gilbert Smith (Debbie); daughter, Dottie Bohannon (Junior); daughter-in-law, Pam Smith; grandchildren, Joanna "Jodie" Bohannon, Stephanie Bowles (Eric), Steven Smith (Amber) and Troy Smith; great-grandchildren, Victoria, Michael, Ethan, Cameron, Abigail, Zachary, Kaylee, Hannah and Aubree; and one great-great-grandson on the way.
Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons, 2114 West Market Street, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. on Friday.
