MATTINGLY, ANSELM "BUD," 91, of Louisville passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Baptist Hospital East.
Bud worked as a parts manager for International Harvester until his retirement. He later worked for Holloway Ready Mix. He also was the last charter member of the Shawnee Men's Golf Club. Bud served in the US Army during World War II where he was a member of the 94th Signal Battalion during the Battle of the Bulge.
In 2008, he was proceeded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Cora Louise Mattingly (Shuck).
He is survived by his children, Joe Mattingly, Beverly McCartin (Don) and Kevin Mattingly (Missy); grandchildren, Stephanie Stortz (Scott), Robert Mattingly (Kathleen), Jason McCartin and Andrew Mattingly; and great grandchildren, Rose, Jacob, Lily and Isaac Mattingly.
A memorial visitation will be held 2-7 p.m., Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road, with a prayer service to start at 4:30 p.m.
