Armous Embry

EMBRY,
Armous "A.E.", 85 husband of the late Louise Wilson Embry, died December 31, 2011 at his residence. Born in Morgantown, Ky. May 22, 1926 he is the son of the late C.E. & Effie Byers Embry. Mr. Embry was raised in the Church of Christ, was a retired truck driver for the Kroger Company and a member of the Teamsters Local # 89.

He is survived by one daughter, Phyllis Spalding (Norman); two sons, Darell Embry (Bonnie) and Harold L. Embry; eight grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Ann Embry; four sisters; and two brothers.
A service celebrating Mr. Embry's life will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home
