Arvil Cardwell

Arvil R. Cardwell, 77, husband to the late Shirley (Cahill) Cardwell, passed away suddenly on Monday July 30, 2018 at Baptist Health.
He was born to the late Arvil and Vernie (Johnson) Cardwell in Butler County, KY. He is also preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Cardwell, brother Fred C. Cardwell and sister Pansy G. Parks.
Arvil owned and operator A. R. Cardwell Tree Service. He conducted church services on Friday nights for the residents of Rockford Manor Nursing Home for several years.
He was always helping others. He took care of his fur grandbabies, Honey, Diego, and Milo along with Kathy's cats, Baby and Angel. And he dearly loved his granddaughter, Taylor Jean more than anything.
He leaves to cherish his memory daughter Penny Baugh (Brad), granddaughter Taylor Jean Baugh, sister Effie Jo French, and brother Dwayne Cardwell (Debbie).
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-7 pm at the funeral home.
