Asa Aubrey Jaggers Share E-mail Visit Guest Book JAGGERS, ASA AUBREY, 85, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Summerfield Nursing Home.
He was born in Brownsville, KY to Asa and Maude (Minton) Jaggers. He was retired from the Maintenance Department at National Linens and was a World War II Army veteran He was a member of Victory Baptist Church & Valley Masonic Lodge # 511 F&AM.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Arvil Jaggers; two sisters, Lola Mae Hampton and Virginia Dunford.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Jean (Jones) Jaggers; two sons, Robert C. Jaggers (Bobbie) and Ronnie Jaggers (Debbie); two daughters, Helen Raymer (Wally) and Marilyn Steimaker (Don); a stepdaughter, Pamela F. Thomas; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; two brothers, Earl Jaggers (Sarah) and Bill E. Jaggers (Faye); two sisters, Narvel Nealy and Jean Stohr (Kenny); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, November 9, 2009 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 2 - 8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday.
