RAY, AURELIA "RITA," 80, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at her home.
Rita was the co-owner of Ray's Tavern, member of the Ladies Auxiliary at St. Peter the Apostle, a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
She was preceded in death by husband, Paul Ernest Ray; and a son, Paul "Eric" Ray Daughters, Vicki Adkisson, Beverly Peterson, Deborah Murphy (Dennis); son, Steve; brother, Vincent Cottrell; sisters, Hertha Rigg and Sandra Greene; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews survive her.
A service celebrating the life of Rita will be 10 a.m. Friday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
