Austin Wise

Wise, Austin Williams "Tony" View/Sign Guest Book WISE, AUSTIN "TONY" WILLIAM, 84, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Norton's Hosparus Health Care Pavilion. He was a member of Mosaic United Methodist Church, American Legion #220, and a VFW Life member. He was an Army veteran who served in World War II at the Battle of the Bulge and the Korean War. He worked as a baker for A&P Bakery. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Edna (McClure) Wise; children, Vickie Sue Gentry (Clyde), Toni Elaine Wagner (Steve) and David Lee Wise (Krista); grandchildren, Jim, Chad, Susanne, Elizabeth, Rebecca and Bethany; two great-grandchildren; and brothers, Edward and Robert Wise. His service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West Mausoleum. Visitation will be Wednesday 1- 8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Mosaic United Methodist Church or Hosparus of Louisville.
