DIEHL, BARBARA J. (SCHMITT), went to be with her Heavenly Father on November 10, 2012.
She was a member of Shively Baptist Church and had retired from Nephrology Associates. She was a beloved grandma to many, sister-in-law, aunt and friend.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence; mother, Mary Evelyn; and brother, Donald Schmitt.
She is survived by her son, Dale R. Diehl; her daughter-in-love, Lori; and granddaughter, Alexandria.
Her funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Thursday.
