EDLIN, BARBARA SUE "SUSIE," 57, of Louisville, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Baptist Health Palliative Care.
She was born May 22, 1955 in Louisville, the daughter of Roy L. Adams and Mary Ann Mayfield Adams and was a RN, having worked at various locations. She was a member of Southeast Christian Church and the Association of Operating Room Nurses.
Susie is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann (Mayfield) Adams.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Thomas S. "Tom" Edlin; two sons, Matthew S. and Jason N. Edlin; father, Roy L. Adams and siblings, Randy Adams, Debbie Fischer, Mike Adams and Lee Adams, Jr.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff on the Palliative Care Unit at Baptist Health for their loving care.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ratterman's, 12900 Shelbyville Road, East Louisville with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts in the form of contributions may be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
