Barbara May Houk Share E-mail Visit Guest Book HOUK, BARBARA MAY, 82 of Louisville passed away Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009 at the Hosparus Inpatient Unit.
She was the former Barbara Shehan, a native of Bardstown, KY and a member of Shively Christian Church.
Barbara was preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Moberly; sons, Tommy and Charles Wayne Houk; parents, Charles and Myrtle Shehan; brother, June Shehan; and sisters, Ruby Elder and Christine Kelly.
Survivors include her husband, Charles W. Houk; daughters, Connie M. Weddle (Bruce), of New Albany, IN and Mindy D. Crain (Ronnie); nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to her church.
