Barbara Jessie

Jessie, Barbara J. (Gonterman),

77, went home to her Lord Wednesday January 14, 2015 at her residence.

She was born in Hart County, KY to Oral O. and Ruby G. (Brown) Gonterman.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Gordon Gonterman.

Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years, Leslie F. Jessie; her children, Theresa Brown (Dennis), Timothy Jessie (Debbie), Leslie "Joni" Caswell (Mark) and Kevin Jessie (Holly); 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Norman, Larry and John Gonterman; two sisters, Linda Daugherty, Debbie Ricketson, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Sunday 12-8 p.m. Online condolences: owenfuneralhome.com
