KIRCHNER, BARBARA E., 83, of Louisville, went to be with her Heavenly Father, December 16, 2012, the same day her beloved husband, William R. Kirchner passed away six years before.
Dearly loved by her sons, sister, daughter-in-law and grandchildren and remembered for her 30 years of dedication to all students and faculty of Western High School.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Katy Ann Kirchner and daughter-in-law, Betty Abraham Kirchner.
She is survived by her sons, William "Mike" Kirchner (Roxanna) and Mark Kirchner; sister, Connie Campbell (Ken); grandchildren, Cody Kirchner, Amy Cooper (Andre), Rebecca Crain (Matthew), Chesney West (Brent) and Roby Kirchner, and great-grandchildren, Taylor and Alexander Crain.
Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Ratterman Grand Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Road with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Kosair Children's Hospital.
