Barry Wayne Palmer

Barry Wayne Palmer, 67, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 10, 2023.

Born on August 7, 1955, Barry was a graduate of Bishop David High School (1973) and retired from Philip Morris. He was a man of faith and a wonderful father, brother, uncle, husband, and loving grandfather. He was a master woodworker and loved spending time with his family, cooking, hunting, helping with projects, and staying active in his yard.

Barry is preceded in death by his wife, Brandolyn (Edwards) Palmer; mother, Elizabeth (Leake) Palmer; and father, Allan Palmer, Jr..

He is survived by brothers Bill Palmer (Jonetta), Bruce Palmer (Joyce), and Bobby Palmer; sisters Gale Crowe and Gwen Spears; children Kimberly Goughler and David Palmer (Emily); grandchildren Alex Raymer, Matthew Raymer, Braden Goughler, and Simon Palmer; great-grandchildren Liam Raymer and Braxlynn Raymer; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and loved ones.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 13th from 2-7 at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Hwy.
