Bennie Johnson

JOHNSON, BENNIE F., 74, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2008, at Baptist Hospital East. He was born in Tuckapaw, SC. He was a retired benefits manager for The Bell South Company, an Air Force veteran during the Korean War, a member of Westport Road Baptist Church, a Kentucky Colonel and member of the American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Grace Johnson; a daughter, Katheryn J. Markham (Bruce); a son, Robert Johnson; his brother, Bob Johnson; sisters, Juanita Coker and Margaret Cody; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. His memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Westport Road Baptist Church, 9705 Westport Road. Inurnment in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Saturday at the church. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Westport Road Baptist Church Building Fund or American Cancer Society
